My fee is $200 for a 50 minute individual counseling or couples counseling session, $50 for a 90 minute group therapy session, and $320 for an 80 minute couples counseling session.  I accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards, including Health Saving Account (HSA) cards. Payment is required at the time of the initial consultation meeting as well as the start of each counseling appointment.

 

I am considered an out-of-network provider for health insurance plans.  If you plan to file a claim for reimbursement with your insurance company I am happy to provide you with a copy of an itemized statement and receipt (i.e., "superbill") for services provided.  Your insurance carrier will be able to inform you about whether your sessions will be covered, what percentage will be covered, and their procedures for reimbursement.

 

I reserve some openings in my caseload for sliding scale clients, who I work with for a reduced rate.  Sliding scale fees may be available depending on financial situation, for example, graduate students, helping professionals working with underserved populations, or those experiencing chronic hardship or illness.  These reduced fee spots are intended for people who could not otherwise attend therapy due to financial restrictions.  If you would like to discuss the possibility of using sliding scale, we can do so during our consultation prior to beginning treatment.
